looking forward to this, any clues? At a Guess I would say 2 wheels and an engine, either a minter or a wreck but not in the middle

Bl**dy h*ll.
I'm back home but without the bike. I have bought it but...things have already not run smooth with the purchase of this one as some fellow members know.
I suppose I should have expected a final 'hurdle'....more in a bit, just having a cuppa.

looking forward to this, any clues? It's a twin from 2006. Has carbs not F.I. Any ideas? Made in England - final year before production went over to Thailand.

Another Triumph yes. I'll do a write up in a bit but to cut a long story short the 'tow guy' that I found on Craigslist turned up just after me with just an old frayed bit of rope, a wooden plank that looked half rotten and loads of unsecured metal crap in the back of his tiny pick up truck...so, needless to say I gave him 20 and sent him on his way - luckily he was local to the pick up point. The chances are it may have been okay but my gut feeling was 'no don't do it'. The vendor was also standing there cringing. There is no way I want this one turning up on it's side like the project 413 750 Hawk did from San Fran. These guys are cheap and un-insured.....I was just trying to be a tight arse I suppose and save about 50 dollars. Worth it? No..
I've arranged for it to be collected tomorrow by a professional bike mover that I have used twice before, he has all the correct gear.
Got some pics, will upload in a bit.

Comes to something when the trip counter miles are nearly as high as the overall miles.

Great guess and very close...but it's yet another Bonneville. The 790cc (pre 865cc) Carb model - so much more tunable and desirable IMHO. Will give more of a 'blow by blow' account on this very bike when she turns up here.....bought it from the original owner.

I’m not that familiar with the Bonneville but that’s a beautiful looking bike Nick and a great find.
