I was really knackered last night - no major finds just sourced bits for the RE 250GT and consumables

I think I may have pissed the seller of this off a bit I was looking at it and the seller said 100% original So I commented The tank decals does not match the twin pot callipers, the tank and bodywork’s must have been replaced He said Its a German import I said I still think the bodywork’s been replaced and if it’s German so have the clocks, they had mph on them and they were Green writing, that shape tank would of had red writing At that point he stormed off into the hall, it did have German style mirrors, The other guy then told me to piss off before I could get to the engine number It would have been a good buy at £1200 IMHO it was German as the side panels were German

Apart from the muddy car park, was the show any good? It goes down hill each year but a good day out and lots to see

(assuming it is NC)

I nearly went but was put off my the look of that mud. I’m glad I didn’t use a bike to go,when I first started going there you could take your bike inside and park anywhere you could find a space,I sold a bike there by parking by a burger van.Mortons do nowt to improve the event they just take your money, disabled parking used to be inside the showground where they hold the race bike area but now disabled parking over the main road on grass ffs😡

Paint code: NH-104M-U The " N" stripe would be to short and the top rear corner would look to far forward with the steeper angled tank.(an idea for a rainy day to draw these up, as a speed enhancement option and no transition on the blue to worry about). But agree that it's an NC, as I can't see the side steering lock, or maybe early ND (from France perhaps) with an N pattern seat cover. (I have been looking for a decent picture, in plan, of the original N seat cover)
